- Who can use Begin?
Begin is designed for adults. While we offer content suitable for children, the app is primarily for adults, including parents or guardians who can share mindfulness exercises with little ones.
- Do I need an account to use Begin?
No, you can use Begin without creating an account. However, creating an account allows you to save your progress, track mindful minutes, and sync content across devices.
- How do I create an account?

During onboarding, you will be asked to select your goals for using Begin. Your chosen goals help personalize the experience by suggesting the most relevant meditations, exercises, and tools. You can choose from:

- Can I use the app offline?
Yes! Begin allows you to download content for offline access in three ways:
- During Onboarding: You can choose to set up offline mode while onboarding, ensuring content related to your selected goals is available offline.
- As You Play Content: Every time you play a session, it is automatically downloaded to your device for future offline access.
- Through Settings: You can manually download content by navigating to Settings > Offline Mode.
- What happens if I log out or delete the app? Logging out or uninstalling the app will remove all downloaded content from your device. You will need to re-download content after logging back in.
- Why can’t I download content? - Ensure you have enough storage on your device. - Check your internet connection before attempting to download. - If the issue persists, try logging out and back in.
- How do I reset my password?
1. From the login screen:
- Go to the login screen
- Select “Forgot Password?”
- Enter your registered email
- Follow the instructions sent to your inbox

- Open the Begin app
- Go to Profile > Settings > Account Info > Change Password
- Select “Forgot Password?”
- An email will be sent to the email address associated with your account
- Follow the instructions in the email to reset your password

- The confirmation email will indicate the app store used: Apple, Google, or another platform

- Does deleting my account cancel my subscription?
No, you must cancel your subscription separately through Apple or Google Play.

- Use the Today Page for personalized recommendations.
- Explore the Discover Page to browse all available content.
- To save content, tap the bookmark icon. Saved content is stored in Your List in the Profile area for easy access later.
- If you've forgotten to save content that you like, don't worry. You can find your History of played content in your Profile area.
- What if I can’t hear any sound?
- Check if your device is muted or on silent mode.
- Ensure volume settings are adjusted.
- Try restarting the app.
- How do I enable or disable notifications?
- Open the Begin app
- Go to Profile > Settings > Notifications
- Toggle notifications on or off
- Is my data safe with Begin?
Yes, we comply with data protection laws, including GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and COPPA (U.S.). We do not sell personal data.
